A modern, minimalist house with a wooden facade sits in a grassy landscape under a cloudy sky. The building has a gabled roof and large windows, blending with the natural surroundings.

BUILDING SURVEYS

Conducting a Building Survey is a vital step to ensure an informed decision when purchasing a property.

Our team of chartered building surveyors have a wealth of knowledge in building pathology and are experienced in analysing a variety of property types across Greater London and the Home Counties.

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest level of service, supporting our clients through the buying process. We recommend an initial consultation to understand buyers’ needs and specific concerns to help recommend the most appropriate level of report. Following a survey, we offer follow up calls in which we provide additional support and guidance.

We specialise in the more comprehensive Level 3 Survey, which offers an in-depth analysis of the condition of a property, recommended for older, larger and more complex buildings. We also offer a Level 2 Survey, designed as an economy service, recommended for smaller and more contemporary properties.

WHY CONDUCT A PREPURCHASE BUILDING SURVEY?

  • To understand the overall condition of a property

  • To understand the age, construction type and materials used in a building

  • To highlight the extent of repair and maintenance works required

  • To highlight further areas of investigation

  • To identify previous alterations carried out to the property

  • To identify possible breaches of planning policy and building regulations

TYPES OF SURVEY
