I joined Terracotta in early 2022 as a relatively latecomer to surveying. Learning the ropes on numerous valuation surveys with Charlie, I now assist with building surveys and homebuyer reports, which allows me to indulge my long-standing interest in domestic architecture.
As a student of history, I love period buildings. It could be a Georgian townhouse, Haussmann-style apartment block, or Gothic Venetian palazzo – I’m fascinated by their design, construction, and use. My favourite British architect is undoubtedly Christopher Wren, whose splendid buildings adorn my hometown of London.
I have ample opportunity to get to know the city better at Terracotta, and it’s a real privilege to see up close how homes are built, maintained, improved, and lived in. Sharing our knowledge and experience with clients is always a pleasure.
