Terracotta deliver redevelopment of mixed-use scheme on Fulham Road, Chelsea

Acting as Project Manager / Contract Administrator the Building Surveying team at Terracotta are delighted to have successfully completed the scheme which included the creation of a two-storey garden flat and the CAT A refurbishment of a ground floor retail unit.  

Terracotta advised the client through all stages of the project from the preparation of initial cost studies to design team appointments, design development, gaining planning consent, tender process, contractor selection and ultimately the delivery of the construction phases.  

Working within a confined and part occupied site the project posed several challenges and special thanks must go to London Basements and Lumas Construction who completed the two phases of the build on time and within budget.  

Both the newly constructed flat and the refurbished retail premises have now been marketed for let and the client is delighted with the results.
